Thursday morning more than 170 attendees who registered for the REGNUH Fitness Walk/Run walked around the lake Thursday morning. The registration fees for the events, which offered baseball caps provided by Brethren Foundation, raised $2,765 for the Global Food Crisis Fund. Retired General Board communications staff, Howard Royer (above) volunteers for the General Board's Global Food Crisis Fund and helped to promote the goals of the "Regnuh: Turning Hunger Around" program. NOAC attendees recognized those who were 90 years old or older during Thursday's break. Shown below are (first row) Jo Reinoehl, Millie Smith; (second row) Catherine Fitze, Lowell Brubaker, Clair Throne, Hollen Helbert and John Eller. At 98 years old, Throne was the oldest attendee at NOAC. Morning Plenary Speaker Richard Gentzler (top above) talked about the importance of older adults in society and in churches.		Christian comedians Ted and Lee kept the audience laughing with a compilation of comedic sketches that imaged different personalities for the Bible stories of feeding the 5,000 (top) and the Gabriel's visit to Abraham (bottom). Herman and Betty Brubaker (top above) enjoy the fine afternoon before the rain fell in the late afternoon. Afternoon activities included a last day to finish projects.
