Weather: Drizzly and cloudy day with warnings of rain Monday and Tuesday week; temperatures in the low 70s, cooling off in the evening to the low 60s. Afternoon Activities: The Conference campus is busy with attendees registering early, booths being set up and friends meeting up once again. Schedule Highlights: Arrivals and registration; opening celebration featuring speaker Kathy Reid; ice cream social for those who can name eight of the 23 Brethren Retirement Homes. Opening celebration to begin at 7 p.m.: ABC Executive Director Kathy Reid will open the eighth National Older Adult Conference to the more than 1,100 participants with a welcome. She also will provide the sermon during opening worship as Sandy Bosserman was unable to attend.
