National Older Adult Conference
Lake Junaluska, North Carolina
September 11-15, 2000

Daily Updates
National Older Adult Conference is held every other year, drawing together Brethren ages 50 and over for a week of worship, learning, sharing, fellowship, and fun. The 2000 NOAC marks the fifth edition of the event, with more than 1,100 people registered. This year's theme was "Still Bearing Fruit, Still Fresh and Green," based on Psalm 92:14.

Speakers for the last NOAC included Jimmy Ross, Dean Miller, Marva Dawn, Robert Raines, and Mennonite comedy duo Ted & Lee. Bob Neff led Bible studies through the week, and many others will lead special-interest groups and other activities.

These pages contain the daily updates and coverage of NOAC that were provided when the fifth NOAC occurred. Make plans now to attend the sixth National Older Adult Conference to be held Sept. 2-6, 2002, at Lake Junaluska Assembly, N.C.
