Wednesday's nightlife activities included a Bethany Theological Seminary gathering for alumni with Theresa Eshbach, a Bethany staff member, and Earle Fike, Bethany Board chair; storytelling with Freeman Owle, a Cherokee storyteller who grew up in the nearby Cherokee reservation; discussions in The Gathering Place, which was where June Blouch of Jonestown, Pa., and Mary Finkbiner of Lancaster, Pa., discussed upcoming travel plans; and a visit with "Hilde" and her friend, Steve Engle, who will perform during Thursday night's main session.
