Glad you are here! I'm Ken Neher, Director of Steward(ship) and Donor Development. I want to again welcome you to our web pages.
I am responsible for supervising the training and work of our Coordinator of Stewardship Formation and Education, Coordinator of Donor Visitation and Planned Gifts, Coordinator of e-Generation Development, Special Gift Counselor, and our Systems Specialist. I coordinate our direct mail efforts to inform and invite the participation of donors and friends in our ministries. I am involved in varying degrees in the planning, production, and distribution of the offering emphases, congregational outreach planning packets, budget interpretation information, and stewardship education materials.
I'm married to Marsha Miller Neher, and father of three adult daughters in their early twenties. Our dog is a girl too! I love to play tennis and do so at every opportunity.
New technology allows me and my staff to work out of our homes - both a blessing and a curse! That doesn't mean we are hard to find. The phone, mail, e-mail, or a call to Lillian at the Church of the Brethren offices at 800 323-8039 work equally well. I really enjoy your notes and mail, and hearing your joys and concerns about our stewardship development efforts and the invitations we extend to you to participate in the life-giving work of the church. So, keep those cards and letters coming, and thanks for partnering with us as we show the world "Another Way of Living."
