Greetings! As a Stewardship Development Counselor, I hope to encourage, resource and inspire congregations and individuals to respond to God's abundance with an ever-growing sense of generosity and a deep spiritual understanding of receiving and giving. Planting seeds and nurturing a strong understanding of stewardship in all of our living - from birth through maturity - is key to developing good stewards. With other Funding staff, I also hope to connect our members with the "heart in their giving." This means exploring our deepest call for the mission and ministry of the Church of the Brethren, learning what inspires us to give, and then discovering the best ways those gifts can be shared.
I live and work out of a General Board "field office" in Wenatchee, Washington, where I have lived for 23 years. My formative years were spent on the Nigerian mission field. After completing my B.A. and graduate work in education at the University of LaVerne, I returned to Nigeria to teach at Waka for three years. I have served the church in many capacities, from volunteer to professional, gaining knowledge, skills and passion through each experience. Currently my favorite church activities include planning and leading worship, clown ministry, and creative stewardship education.
Call. Let's chat about how we can work at sharing God's abundance.
