Brethren Foundation

The Brethren Foundation, Inc. currently acts as Trustee for many managed gift plans and financial assets of the Church of the Brethren General Board and manages the Board's invested assets according to socially responsible investment guidelines.

The staff of the Brethren Foundation also assists the General Board's Financial Resource Counselors with consultative and technical expertise in difficult estate plans and complicated gift giving strategies when needed. In addition, the Foundation creates informational and educational resources for use by individuals and congregations specific to the General Board's needs describing a variety of gift-giving instruments. These resources plus others are then made available through the Funding office of the General Board and from each of the 5 area Financial Resource Counselors.
