Ecumenical Stewardship Center

The General Board is in relationship with the Ecumenical Stewardship Center through the cooperation and grants of the Funding office. This important relationship leverages our resources in the production of materials and sponsorship of outstanding educational events, as well as, allows important information sharing and collaboration with other denominations.

The Ecumenical Stewardship Center "orders its life and mission in response to God's call through an unfolding biblical and theological understanding of our stewardship of God's many and varied gifts as revealed through all creation and the gospel of Jesus Christ."

The Mission includes:

• Opportunities for ongoing biblical study and theological reflection related to Christian stewardship.
• Resources, events, and ideas to support denominational ministries in the areas of stewardship education, congregational financial enlistment, Christian financial planning, and mission funding.
• Opportunities for sharing of ideas and resources among persons working in the field of Christian stewardship.
• Professional growth experiences in stewardship for denominational and judicatory staff, theological educators, pastors and lay leaders.
• Commitment to ecumenicity within the body of Christ.
