Congregational Life Ministries

After the re-design of the General Board ministry areas, the portfolio previously housed in the Office of Stewardship was divided between the Funding office and Congregational Life Ministries. Now working in close cooperation, the two offices continue their work to keep stewardship issues before the church in a variety of ways.

Congregational Life Ministries has several experts among its staff that work at stewardship education issues. CLM staff develop the stewardship resources packet sent each summer to congregations, are intimately involved in the creation of the "Giving" magazine and the Ecumenical Stewardship Center, have created the Stewardship Box for district offices, are developing a three year stewardship theme and accompanying materials, and consult with individuals and congregations when the need arises.
