At the heart of the General Board’s mission statement is a call to “support congregations in their task to create joyful communities of faith that proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, cultivate discipleship, respond to human need, make for peace, and bring about reconciliation and justice.” One way those who work for the General Board as servants of Jesus Christ live out this call is by making themselves available as resources to congregations.

Staff who work in ministries supported by the Core Ministries Fund receive budget support to carry out this mission. As a result, there is no fee for congregations or related groups to have them come and speak, though donations to the Core Ministries Fund are always welcome. For staff who work in self-funding programs, or for General Board members who work elsewhere, assistance in covering travel costs and related expenses is requested, as noted in each listing.

To schedule a speaker, please be in touch with them directly via the contact information given below. For additional general questions, please call Becky Ullom, director of Identity and Relations, at 800-323-8039, ext. 212.
