The Brethren Service Center in New Windsor, Maryland was established in 1944 as a collection site for material resources shipped to war-torn Europe. Over the years, we have worked together with denominational and private nonprofit organizations to help meet needs of people in the U.S. and around the globe. The Material Resources Distribution Center, located on the Brethren Service Center campus, inventories, packs and ships goods routinely as well as during times of crisis and disaster. As a result, we have developed extraordinary expertise in preparing goods for emergency shipment. Utilizing our ability to pack and to document ensures that shipments reach their destination in good condition and on time.
