Be a Disaster Response Volunteer!

To volunteer on a disaster response project, all you have to do is sign up through your District Disaster Coordinator (DDC). You may call your district office (see below) to obtain the telephone number of the DDC in your area. Or, call Jane at the Brethren Disaster Ministries office in New Windsor, Md. at 800-451-4407 for referral to your DDC.

Church World Service Kits

Another way to help persons in the aftermath of disaster is to assemble Church World Service Kits (Hygiene, School, Baby and Emergency Clean-up Buckets). This much-needed resource project can be accomplished by individuals/families, church groups (e.g., Vacation Bible School) or community organizations.
