#1718: Maine Area Home School Project Lewiston, Maine The Church of the Brethren Maine Ministries (Maine Home School Project) seeks to enhance and enrich home education by providing a teacher’s aide to support home schooling parents. Open to BVS/BRF only.
#1722: Colegio Miguel Angel Asturias Quetzaltenango, Guatemala Colegio Miguel Angel Asturias is an innovative nonprofit school located in Xela, providing education to children from the most vulnerable sectors of society.
#1723: Asian Rural Institute Tochigi-ken, Japan The Asian Rural Institute (ARI) is an international training ground for grassroots rural leaders.
#1724: Highland Park Elementary School Roanoke, Virginia Highland Park Elementary School is an urban elementary school located near downtown Roanoke, VA. It serves approximately 300 preschool through fifth grade students. Central Church of the Brethren is located in downtown Roanoke and works with Congregations in Action, a partnership of churches in Roanoke that provides volunteer help and resources to several local schools, including Highland Park.
#1801: Trees for Life Wichita, Kansas Trees for Life started as a movement helping people in developing countries plant fruit trees for better nutrition. In this act, people experienced how extraordinary power is unleashed when we help each other. It grew into a global movement sharing knowledge and resources to help people improve their own live, with an emphasis on providing educational resources.

#1822: Germanwatch Bonn, Germany Germanwatch is a non-profit north-south initiative engaged in directing German political policy towards sustainability.
#1827: NCC Eco-Justice Program Washington, District of Columbia The National Council of Churches Eco-Justice Program exists to voice the religious communities’ positions on protecting God’s world through issues related to eco-justice to elected officials; and to help promote environmental issues within the faith community.
#1828: Glebe House Kilcief/Strangford, Northern Ireland Since 1975 children, young people and adults have been coming to Glebe House for a week, two weeks, a weekend, or a day, to live together, play together, work together, learn together, and while we're at it discover that life can be more interesting, more rewarding, more creative, more adventurous, and more fun than the labels that get stuck on us.
#1908: BVS/Global Missions - Brazil Brazil, Brazil BVS/Global Missions in Brazil organizes community outreach programs of the congregations in Campinas (Sao Paulo) area and the city of Rio Verde, Goias state. These outreach programs currently focus on children’s programs of educational support and Christian education linked directly to the congregational ministry. These outreaches respond to stated needs of the communities as well as the church membership.
#1911: Cincinnati Church of the Brethren Cincinnati, Ohio The goal of the Cincinnati Church of the Brethren is to seek the peace of the city. We believe the church is at its best when it is a big tent that is able to bring people of diverse races, theologies, incomes, educations, and backgrounds together in worship, service, and community.
#1913: First Central Church of the Brethren Kansas City, Kansas The First Central Church of the Brethren works in a 100-year-old, inner-city neighborhood amongst the haves and the have-nots.
#1914: Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel San Salvador, El Salvador Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel has a long-standing tradition of peace and justice work, as well as a 20+ year relationship with the Manchester Church of the Brethren in North Manchester, Indiana.
#2006: BVS Office Positions Elgin, Illinois The BVS Office relies on experienced volunteers to help lead orientations as well as assist in the promotion of BVS.
#2010: Congregational Life Ministries Elgin, Illinois Through its various ministry areas – deacons, family life, intercultural, new church development, older adults, spiritual life and discipleship, transforming practices, and youth and young adults – Congregational Life Ministries (CLM) of the Church of the Brethren shapes vital congregations, which in turn are growing disciples. Among the conferences and events sponsored by CLM are National Older Adult Conference, National Youth Conference, Christian Citizenship Seminar, and the Intercultural Consultation and Celebration.
#2021: Brethren Historical Library/Archive Elgin, Illinois The Brethren Historical Library and Archives (BHLA) is the official repository for Church of the Brethren publications and records. We are located at the denominational headquarters in Elgin, IL. The BHLA seeks an archival assistant to help accession and process books and archival materials, provide for in-house and online patron requests, and assist with filing, telephone calls, scanning and photocopying.
#2026: Valley Brethren-Mennonite Heritage Center Harrisonburg, Virginia The Heritage Center displays the stories of the Brethren and Mennonite and related items. It includes three historic buildings, with more to come, and a modern Welcome Center.
#2029: Sanctuary of Hope Kansas City, Kansas Sanctuary of Hope is an inner-city, inter-faith site composed of 35 acres of natural beauty to help people connect more with God, their true self and others in whatever spiritual path they are walking.
