Camp Swatara is a Church of the Brethren summer camp, year round retreat/conference center, and family campground. The purpose of Camp Swatara is to provide opportunities in the natural setting for persons of all ages to grow in their relationship to Jesus Christ so that they may give their lives to Him in total discipleship. Camp Swatara offers a Volunteer position that is wide ranging in its possibilities. The volunteer will serve where needed throughout the year to include any or all of the following: housekeeping assistant, food service assistant, weekend hosting, administrative assistant, maintenance assistant, and frequent office coverage. Volunteers should be open to fulfilling duties in all these areas and be comfortable in communicating with guests of the camp and serving as a team player with the camp’s supervisory staff.
