Ron is a Lay Speaker for the Shenandoah District, runs a small family farm and also is a partner in a construction/excavation company.

In their spare time, they enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.

My activities include operating the Bakery Shop for the Weyers Cave Community VBS (2 yrs), Board member for the Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council, Girl Scout Troop leader, Secretary for the Harrisonburg Tennis Patrons, and volunteering at the local county fair. Hobbies: tennis, baking, cooking, volleyball, knitting, gardening, and reading. I have 1 daughter and a dog named Sherlock.

Members of the Staunton Church of the Brethren in Staunton

Mabel Lou taught elementary school some years ago, mostly second grade. In recent years she has worked in a varity of volunteer positions in the community.

Bob retired several years ago after forty years as a college professor, teaching mathematics and computer science.

Both are active in the Staunton Church; each has served on the church board and as board chair, as well as on numerous church committees. Mabel Lou sings in the choir and often plays flute as part of the worship services.

Mabel Lou and Bob enjoy music, travel, reading, and spending time with their four grandchildren. Mabel Lou loves to garden, and Bob is an avid cyclist.

I live am a Charter Member of the New Covenant Church of the Brethren I am a Former member of Virlina and regular delegate to District Conference. I have a District Board participant in Women’s Fellowship, Teaketties Bible Study, Vespers Program; Assistant to the Choir Director at New Covenant.

I am retired from Civil Service, worked a few year in a Doctor’s office, then retired again from Dinwiddle County Public School System. I am enjoying a busy retirement, member of Red Hat Society, most of all being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Doug is married to Rowena (Fike) Myers and they reside near New Hope, VA. Together they have 2 grown daughters, and a son who is their pastor at Middle River Church of the Brethren.

Doug has enjoyed mission work through Middle River with brothers and sisters in Haiti for the last 7 years and occasionally able to be a part of Disaster Response teams. He is active at Middle River where he enjoys singing in the Praise Team.

Doug has worked at UPS 30 yrs. He began his trucking career at New Windsor, MD with Church World Service in BVS. For recreation, Doug likes to hike and cut wood.

I am a member of New Covenant CoB. I was born and raised in Chester, VA and I am 23. I am excited to be getting married in May 2008. I am a full-time teacher at Bundle of Joy Childcare in Hanover, VA. I am currently the lead teacher of the 2 year old class, but I have worked with three's and pre-k as well. I love them all and I am studying to be a teacher for Hanover County. I attend J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College fulltime under the liberal arts and elementary education program. After graduating at the end of 2008, I will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English and masters in elementary education at Virginia Commonwealth University.

We have 2 daughters, Dana who is currently serving as the BVSer in the Ministry Office in Elgin and Leah who is currently a Senior at Virginia Tech.

I am married with two children: Our daughter graduated from Bridgewater College with a degree in music and is presently teaching at Thomas Harrison Middle School. Our son graduated from VA Tech with a degree in agricultural Economics. He is in the family business with us. We are proud of our six grandchildren.

Presently I am working part time as a Nurse at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Happily married to Glenda (Winker) Wampler for 45 years I have one daughter, Pamela., who is married to Marshall Butler. They have three children. Our son, Philip, passed away in 2005 at the age of 38.

In retirement, I enjoy working in the yard and antique automobiles for personal hobbies. On a wider scale, I enjoy working in services of our church and civic volunteer work.
