The Terrace and Lambuth Inn provide excellent and accessible accommodations for guests. The Terrace has 105 rooms, most with two double beds per room. It is located across from Harrell Center and Stuart Auditorium. Lambuth Inn has 131 rooms, each with combinations of double and/or single beds, and is approximately ½ mile uphill from Stuart Auditorium. Both facilities have private baths, heat, air conditioning, phones, and TV. Rates are per person, per day; American Meal Plan included.
Lakeside Lodge adequate facility has 25 rooms, each with two double beds, and is ¾ mile from Stuart Auditorium. Rooms have private baths, heat, air conditioning, phones, and TV. There is no elevator and the facility has several stairs. Rates are per person, per day; meals not included. * Because of the high demand for the above facilities, there is limited availability for single occupancy.
Junaluska Apartments consist of 50 units (44 with kitchens) for four or more persons. A limited number of units can accommodate up to 12. Apartments are approximately one mile from Stuart Auditorium and are completely furnished with linens, blankets, and some dishes and cooking utensils. Rooms have private baths. Heat and air conditioning and roll-away beds available on request for an additional charge. No TV. Rates are per person, per day; meals not included.
These facilities are basic accommodations that offer fewer amenities, minimal furnishings, or a camping-like experience. Sunnyside Lodge has 38 rooms; Mountainview Lodge, 42. Each room sleeps three or more persons. These lodges are behind Shackford Hall, approximately ¾ mile from Stuart Auditorium. Rooms have private baths, but no heat or air conditioning. Rates are per person, per day; meals not included.
Lodging reservations must be postmarked or faxed on or after April 1, 2008. Any reservation sent prior to April 1 will be returned. Each reservation must be accompanied by a $35 per person deposit; check or credit card. Fax reservations must be paid by credit card. Lodging reservations are not confirmed until deposit is received. Balance due at check-in. Rooms will be released at the end of the first day of the conference if notification of late arrival is not given. Special Considerations NOTE: These special considerations will be extended between April 1 and April 15. After April 15, all reservations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Tip: Make your housing reservation on April 1 or shortly thereafter, regardless of age or disability. This will increase the likelihood of securing your first or second lodging choice.
