Cottage Rentals

You may choose to rent one of the many privately owned homes, condos, or cottages that are managed by the Assembly. Lake Junaluska Conference Center Cottage Rentals offer many economical and attractive lodging options for NOAC attendees. Each rental is unique and provides a variety of accommodations and settings. Whether you are a couple or a group of friends, you will be able to find something that meets your needs.

Information on the variety of possibilities is available at www.ljcottages.com. This useful website will allow you to see photos of the accommodations available. Information can also be obtained by calling the Rental Office at (800) 222-4930, ext. 4 or 5.

Why Rent a Cottage?

  1. Cost – Most of these facilities rent for between $300 to $850 per week and most can accommodate six to eight people.

  2. Many of the homes are within an easy walk of Stuart Auditorium.

  3. Register any time after February 15 – which is 45 days before Assembly lodging opens.

  4. Cottages offer spacious living quarters and all the modern conveniences of home – TV, phone, washer/dryer, full kitchen, etc.

Cottage Rental Guidelines

Lake Junaluska Cottages are rented on a weekly basis, Sunday to Sunday. With prior arrangement these dwellings may be rented during the week of NOAC starting Saturday, August 30, and ending Saturday, September 6.

All units are furnished with blankets, bed-spreads, pillows, and cooking and eating utensils. Telephone and cable television are also included. Small electrical appliances are furnished as indicated in the individual unit descriptions. PLAN ON BRINGING YOUR OWN LINENS (sheets, pillowcases, bath and dish towels) and cleaning and paper supplies, as these are not furnished. You may choose to clean your unit before your departure or pay for the unit to be cleaned by Lake Junaluska staff.

Cottage Reservations

Reservations for the cottage rentals will be accepted by phone after February 15, 2008. Upon booking notification, guests have two weeks to remit half of the unit’s total weekly rent. VISA, Master Card, American Express, and Discover credit cards are accepted, as well as checks and money orders. Reservations can be cancelled for a full refund any time up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
