The Wellness Ministry is guided by a cabinet of volunteers. Members include:
Randy Yoder Randy is interim director for Insurance plans. He is a member of Stone Church of the Brethren in Huntingdon, Pa., where he serves as a deacon and Witness Committee member. Randy is a retired District Executive with a passion for Vital and Healthy Congregations. He is a trainer/coach working with congregations toward a renewed and healthy life.

Vernne W. Greiner Vernne has been in full-time family practice for over two decades in central Pennsylvania. She has had an interest in wellness, which has been reawakened by her home congregation's Lafiya steering committee. This has also been an avenue to current service on the ABC Board. In addition to patient care, her professional duties include teaching medical students and clinical research data collection in a hospital system associated with a local medical school. She is a member of the Mechanicsburg (Pa.) Church of the Brethren.

David Fouts David is a retired medical doctor and serves on the ABC Board. He was in family practice for 20 years before switching his focus to preventive medicine and becoming board certified. For the next 20 years he focused on occupational medicine and worked with weight control. smoking cessation and programs aimed at early detection of chronic diseases. He is a member of the Long Green Valley Church of the Brethren, Glen Arm, Md.

Tammy Kiser Tammy Kiser has been a practicing Parish Nurse at Briery Branch Church of the Brethren in Dayton, Va., for the past seven years. Her interest in Parish Nursing developed while exploring Lafiya ministry for the congregation. In addition to parish nursing, Tammy has worked extensively in various areas of community nursing, including Community Mental Health, Substance Abuse Treatment, School Nursing and Occupational Health nursing. These experiences have provided Tammy with a broad knowledge base to draw from as a parish nurse.

David Doudt David is a hospice chaplain and spiritual director. He attends the Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren, Elgin, Ill.
John Wenger John is a psychologist and owner of Anderson Psychiatric Clinic and attends the Anderson (Ind.) Church of the Brethren. He also serves on the board of the Association of Brethren Caregivers.

Mary Lou Garrison Mary Lou is part-time director of Wellness and represents ABC staff for the Wellness Ministry. A particular interest is the blending of the culinary arts with foods that enhance our physical/emotional balance.
