About this event

Author Mungi Ngomane will be joining us for a very special #Conversations Together, Tuesday, May 5 online via Zoom. Be welcome to join us!

She is the author of Everyday Ubuntu, our featured book for discussion. She brings a very special perspective of Ubuntu which means "I am because we are" and "people are people through others" and its meaning for our global and local contexts today." The granddaughter of Nobel Laureate, Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, Mungi Ngomane writes and engages conversation in Ubuntu's meaning especially in these times.

"Strength lies in unity" and "Put Yourself in the Shoes of Others" and "Have Dignity and Respect for Others" are a few of the key principles shared.

Join us for this conversation together. Intercultural Ministries Director LaDonna Nkosi will be our moderator and host of our May 5th Conversations Together. Share the invitation with your churches, friends, family and peoples and plan to join us!
